At just 12 years old, Jake is already one of the most sought after DJs in the Tampa Bay Area.

 

Performing for corporate, private, charity events and large Festivals, DJ Jake Dela Cruz still manages to be an honors student at his Middle School. His last Festival was the wildly successful “World’s Largest Food Truck Rally”, which broke the world’s record for the most food trucks at one revenue. There were 99 food trucks and over 30,000 people in attendance. The promoters Generation Food Truck, Carlos Eats, and Truckspotting named DJ Jake Dela Cruz the Official DJ for their next Food Truck event in March 2014.

 

The list of Jake's clients is more than 20 organizations long, with many of them inviting him back for repeat appearances. Verizon Fios, the Girls Scouts of America, Park Square Cellar, Children's Cancer Center, Robocon, and Glazer Children's Museum. He used to be the resident DJ at the Upstairs bar in FishHawk and now can be found the first Sunday of every month at the Tampa Kids Market in Hyde Park Village.

 

Jake uses his skills for more than entertainment. After Jake’s grandmother Conchita Dela Cruz died of cancer when he was 9 years old, he has donated a lot of his time to help raise funds for cancer research and for programs that help support families of people affected by cancer. Jake has helped his local Fishhawk Ranch Relay for Life chapter raise over $155,000 last year and he is already signed up to help out again this year.
